Your mission

Are you passionate about finance and business? We are looking for a full-time Senior Freelance Financial Content Consultant to join us in a hybrid role based in Madrid. We are seeking a talented professional who can transform complex financial products, investment trends, and market dynamics into clear, compelling, and customer-focused narratives. This role combines strategic content development, commercial storytelling, market research, and direct collaboration with senior executives and clients across the financial ecosystem. 

What You´ll Do
  • Create compelling articles, press releases, reports, white papers, and news content focused on financial services, investment trends, sustainability, innovation, and technology.
  • Translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, and persuasive content tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Develop commercial storytelling frameworks that communicate value propositions effectively and support business growth.
  • Analyze project requirements and collaborate with consulting teams to understand project scope, objectives, and implementation plans.
  • Collect, monitor, and interpret content performance metrics and communication KPIs to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research on industry developments, investment trends, emerging technologies, and innovative business models.
  • Prepare market intelligence reports, trend analyses, and thought leadership materials, with a strong focus on the financial services sector.
  • Manage direct communication with C-level executives, corporate stakeholders, and high-growth ecosystems, including startups, scaleups, strategic partners, and investors.
  • Attend client meetings, workshops, and industry events in Madrid, representing the project team and generating high-value content and insights from these interactions.
  • Cover conferences, corporate events and ecosystem gatherings, producing event summaries, executive reports, articles, interviews, and thought leadership content.
  • Support the development of client-facing presentations, executive reports, and strategic recommendations.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience creating high-quality content for the financial sector.
  • Native Spanish speaker with exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Fluent or bilingual English (C1/C2 level), with the ability to communicate confidently in professional and client environments.
  • Proven experience within the financial services industry, including banking, investments, asset management, wealth management, fintech, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of AI-powered content creation and communication tools, and the ability to incorporate them effectively into content workflows.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SEO content strategy, including proven experience driving organic visibility, engagement, and measurable performance results.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Passion for digital content innovation, emerging media trends, and new communication formats.
  • Strong analytical thinking, research capabilities, and synthesis skills, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.
  • Availability to attend client meetings, workshops, and industry events in Madrid as part of the hybrid working model.
  • Availability to commit to a full-time or near full-time freelance collaboration (approximately 30–40 hours per week).
